ALUP ADQ Refrigerant Air Dryers

ADQ refrigerant dryers remove moisture from compressed air to a pressure dew point of about +3°C, protecting pipework, valves, cylinders and products from water and corrosion.

In Egypt, compressor rooms often exceed 40°C in summer, so the dryer must be derated. As a rule of thumb we size the dryer at roughly 1.3x to 1.6x the compressor free air delivery and confirm it with the ALUP correction factors.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I size an air dryer for my compressor in Egypt?

Start from the compressor free air delivery, then apply correction factors for inlet temperature, ambient temperature and pressure. For typical Egyptian summer conditions the result is about 1.3x to 1.6x the compressor FAD.

What dew point does the ADQ achieve?

ADQ refrigerant dryers deliver a pressure dew point of about +3°C, which corresponds to ISO 8573-1 humidity class 4 for most industrial applications.
